A baking themed party

 Grandma Penny made the cake - of course.

 I decided to make each of the girls aprons - all a little different - as their party favor.

 I got these darling bags to put them in so the girls didn't fight over the colors. . .

 Here are the girls - minus baby Alexa - in their aprons and ready to get baking.

We made strawberry cupcakes.  I made the sugar cookies the day before. 

 Then it was time to decorate.  Some girls put tons of frosting and sprinkles on their cookies and ate the right away.  Others saved them and brought them home to share.

 Lauren was having a little too much fun with the frosting!

 Then it was time to blow out the candles and sing "happy birthday!"

It was a great party.  I had a blast planning it and making the aprons.  I think the girls liked it too:)

Lauren got to see where mommy works and then we went to have a mini photo shoot. . . well this is the best of them . . . she fell asleep in the car minutes later. . . there will be another day Lauren!
