Kendrick has a new walking buddy - 

a boot - but only for a couple weeks.

I had my annual girls weekend with some of my favorite girls.

Lauren had been talking about getting her ears pierced for a long time.

She knew that it was going to hurt a little.

But she decided she was ready.

Best part is, she did it on my birthday.

However, I had knots in my stomach on the way to the mall.

I think I was more nervous than she was.

She was so brave and I needed to show that I was brave too.

The girl at Claire's could see the emotion in my face.

But I stayed strong and told her it would be just fine.

Lauren got to squeeze a special bear.

It was over in seconds.  

At first she looked a little sad and

then she was so excited.  

She showed everyone in the mall "her diamonds."

A typical fall weekend with the 

three neighborhood boys

riding their Drifters.

 Isaac and Lauren's school have a fun run to raise money for various events and items for the school.

I went to watch them.

It was a gorgeous day and the kids were having a great time!

Lauren decided she wants glasses.

I tried to explain that she doesn't need them.

So she took the lenses out of 3D ones.
